CYRAM Inc., a company specializing in
social network analysis, and the Korean National Police University's Public
Safety Data Science Research Center signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU)
on December 15 for industry-academia cooperation.
Through this agreement, the two
institutions agreed to mutually cooperate in strengthening education and
research capabilities and fostering human resources in the field of public
security data science by sharing information and knowledge in the field of
public security between CYRAM's social network analysis technology and big data
analysis technology and the Korean National Police University's Public Safety
Data Science Research Center.
In the future, CYRAM Inc. will provide
various support and cooperation such as special lectures on social network
analysis and graph analysis and exchange of research personnel to expand the
base of social network analysis and graph analysis in the field of public
security data science. Korean National Police University's Public Safety Data
Science Research Center promised to actively utilize NetMiner4, a software
specialized in social network analysis, and NetMiner365, a graph data science
platform, and hold special lectures and academic events for joint research.
