NetMiner3 gives various flexible options so that you do not have to purchase the whole packages, although you would not need all of those packages. On top of the base package, you can add various packages to build tailor-tailed network analysis software that exactly suits your need.

- Base and Options
Packages of NetMiner 3 are mainly divided into two categories, Base and Options. 5 packages categorized as Base are prerequisite for all other packages, and the remaining 13 packages categorized as Options can be selected upon your need.
- Base
5 pacakages in Base can be further classified as two categories, Framework and Basic Packages. Two packages in Framework are building blocks of NetMiner 3. Without these packages NetMiner 3 can not be executed. Three packages in Basic Packages are basic foundation for other optional packages. These 3 basic packages are indispensable features of Social Network Analysis software and therefore required.

The Options category includes 13 optional packages classified as 5 categories, Analysis, Exploration, Visualization, Statistics and Tools. Since these 13 packages are independent of one another, without considering dependency you can select some of these packages upon your need.
