NetMiner Upgrade to ver.3.3.0.a (10-01-08) |

Dear NetMiner Members,
Today we are pleased to notify that NetMiner is updated to version 3.3.0.a
This upgrade is a minor upgrade, so customers can upgrade it freely.
You can upgrade it using the 'Help' in NetMiner 3 main menu. Select "Check Update" for automatic update.
This is the 5th upgrade from the previous official release of NetMiner 3 on May 15th, 2007. (The first upgrade was released on June 7th, 2007.)
NetMiner is the premium software for network analysis.
Its main features are large scale network analysis, what-if analysis, comprehensive network measures and models including p* etc
I. Enhanced Modules
1. Multiple Regression QAP (MRQAP)
Post-processing option for "Statistics >> Regression >> Matrix" module is enhanced with Multiple Regression QAP significance test. There are five options that user's able to choose - X-Permutation, Y-Permutation, FLSP, DSL, Partialing.
2. Standardization option in Regression modules
Before running regression analysis, users are able to standardize their data. The standardization option can be controlled in Pre-processing section of regression modules.
II. Modification of Names and Locations
1. Visualize >> Clustered
Default layout algorithm of clustered map was Clustered-CoLa, which is now changed to Clustered Eades.
III. Fixed Bugs
1. Analyze >> Position >> Brokerage
If name of a data item included under-bar character, it was presented as a subscript in the input control item. Now the name is presented as it is although it contains under-bar character.
2. Statistics >> Autocorrelation >> Join-Count
The module didn't work if a node attribute with missing values is inputted. Now the module runs excluding the nodes with missing value.
3. Transform >> Query
There was a critical error, which is now fixed, on "Transform >> Query" module. NetMiner 3 crashed, if there were missing values in the string type data and if user selected '@More' in the value-list box of that data of the query module.
How to update my NetMiner 3?
You can update your NetMiner 3 using HELP menu in the NetMiner 3 Main Window.
Click the 'Check Update' in the Help menu, then the update process will start automatically.
