  • II. Large Network Data Analysis

Scalability and Performance

The core algorithm for data processing has been implemented in a way to handle large-scale network data.

In order to get the benefit of NetMiner's handling ‘Large-scale Network Data’, we mean that i) users need to have appropriate level of license and, ii) the network data is sparse (m ≤ 10 x n) and, iii) users are running subquadratic algorithms and, iv) NetMiner 3 is installed in a computer with large size of RAM and high speed of CPU.

Core algorithmic engine with Interruption enabled

Any algorithm of NetMiner3 can be interrupted and terminated in the middle of its process without system failure. This feature can be useful especially with large-scale data analysis with high time-complexity algorithm. In addition, the Progress Bar allows you to estimate the remaining time to complete the task.
